HOT HONEY CHICKEN NUGGETS

Crispy air-fried chicken nuggets coated using a quick shake-and-coat method, then tossed hot with honey and generous Yo Amma Indian Chili Crisp. Sweet, sticky, spicy, and layered with deep roasted flavor — minimal effort, maximum payoff.

 

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CHICKEN NUGGETS

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
½ cup buttermilk
2 tbsp pickle juice
1 tsp kosher salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder

¾ cup potato starch

Neutral oil spray (for air fryer)


FOR THE HOT HONEY FINISH

¼ cup honey
1–2 tbsp Yo Amma Indian Chili Crisp (oil + crunchy bits)

 

HOW TO MAKE IT

SEASON & COAT

Add chicken, buttermilk, pickle juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Kashmiri chili powder to a large zip-top bag. Seal and shake well until evenly coated.

Add potato starch, reseal, and shake again thoroughly until every piece is fully coated. Press gently through the bag if needed to ensure no dry spots remain.

 

AIR FRY

Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange nuggets in a single layer and lightly spray with oil.

Air fry 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until deeply golden and crisp.

 

TOSS

Transfer hot nuggets to a bowl. Add honey and generous Yo Amma Indian Chili Crisp. Toss immediately until glossy and evenly coated.

 

SERVE

Serve hot for the best texture and crunch.
