What is Yo Amma?

Yo Amma is an Indian-inspired chili crisp made to bring bold spice and serious crunch to everyday food. Rooted in Indian flavor traditions and built for modern kitchens, it’s a versatile condiment designed to add texture, warmth, and depth—not just heat—to whatever you’re eating.
How spicy is Yo Amma?

Medium heat—around a 6/10 for most people. It delivers warmth and flavor first, with heat that builds gently and lingers without overwhelming. Spice lovers use it by the spoonful; others add it as a finishing touch.
What should I put it on?

Short answer: everything.

Longer answer: rice, eggs, noodles, vegetables, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, yogurt—if it tastes good with crunch and spice, Yo Amma belongs there.
Who is Pappu?

Pappu is our elephant—lover of spice, protector of crunch, and the spirit of Yo Amma. He believes food should be bold, shared, and never boring.
How do I contact you?

What’s in the jar?

Avocado oil, fried onion, palm oil, corn starch, salt, Yo Amma spice blend, coconut, peanuts, garlic, sea salt, cane sugar.

Is Yo Amma vegan and gluten-free?

Yes and yes.
Why does the oil sometimes separate?

That’s just real ingredients doing their thing. Give it a stir and you’re good to go.
How should I store it?

Shelf-stable before opening. Refrigerate after opening. Use a clean spoon.
How big is the jar?

6 oz (170g). About 8 generous servings—depending on how heavy-handed you are. That's why we insist on two!

Is shipping really free?

Yes. All ground shipping is free on orders over $30.
What payment methods do you accept?

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking email with a tracking number.
Something not right with your order?

Let us know. If your jar arrives damaged or incorrect, reach out and we’ll fix it.
